Meet Julia, owner and founder of Uproot Charcuterie, proudly serving the broader Indianapolis area. With a strong background in event planning and hospitality, and a deep love of hosting, she believes food is one of the most powerful ways to connect people. Her mission is to create experiences that bring people together, one thoughtfully crafted grazing board at a time.
What started as a creative outlet—building spreads for loved ones—quickly grew into a passion for crafting unique, flavorful charcuterie experiences. Julia specializes in customizable boards that accommodate dietary needs while prioritizing locally sourced ingredients, ensuring every event feels personal, intentional, and memorable. Her love of travel has broadened her taste and deepened her understanding of how foods and beverages pair, a skill she brings to every Uproot Charcuterie creation.

Outside of Uproot, Julia enjoys exploring new coffee shops around Indianapolis, attending local events like the annual Christkindlemarkt in Carmel, and going on long walks with her Golden Retriever, Otis, and supportive partner. A thoughtful and detail-oriented host, she loves small touches that elevate an experience. Equally passionate about connecting with fellow creatives, Julia enjoys supporting women in pursuing their passions, making community and collaboration an important part of everything she does.
